My Paris Favorites - September 29, 2024

Bonjour!

Greetings from freezing Paris! The cold and rain just won’t let up. While Paris does have its charm in the rain, I have to admit, after so many rainy days, I’m ready for some sunshine!

This week was Fashion Week in Paris — I’m not usually into it, but I must say, it was lovely to see all the fashionistas around the city and in the metro, dressed to perfection.

❤️ My latest favorites in Paris

Last weekend was the European Heritage Days. Every September, for one weekend, cultural, heritage, and even political sites open their doors for free. I always use this chance to visit places that are usually closed to the public. This year, I explored the sculpture workshops at the Louvre and visited the Banque de France (Federal Reserve). If you’re planning a trip to Paris in September, I highly recommend being here for this weekend. Next year, it will be on September 20 and 21, 2025, with the list of places to visit coming out at the end of August.

This week, I discovered a great podcast about France: The Good Life France Podcast. The episodes dive into French gastronomy, art de vivre, history, and travel—definitely worth a listen!
