My Paris Favorites - November 25, 2023

Bonjour bonjour!

Paris is now in full Christmas mood... And so am I! The joy (and crazyness!) of the holiday season is definitely everywhere. I visited the 'Grands Magasins': Galeries Lafayette, BHV, Samaritaine and Le Bon Marché. Their Christmas decorations are a must-see every year. And my top goes to Galeries Lafayette for the Christmas decorations (that's their 'Christmas Tree' in the photo) and to Le Bon Marché for the Christmas windows.

✨ My inspirations of the moment

I discovered the Instagram account Become the muse and I love it. Charlotte takes photos of people looking at art. Her photos have a kind of poetic and peaceful style.

I read this article from Conde Nast Traveler: Retracing Julia Child's footsteps through Paris, 75 years later. It made me want to 1) watch the TV show dedicated to her 2) spend a weekend going to all her favorite places in Paris and cooking some of her recipes.

❤️ My latest favorites in Paris

My new crush for a bakery goes to Panade. They are close to the Eiffel Tower, an excellent location, right? I tried their croissant and the Pecan pie: PER-FEC-TION.

Some friends told me about the stunning view from the summit of the Sacre Coeur. I had no idea that it was possible to climb up there!! No sooner said than done ☺️ 292 stairs to arrive in a 360 covered gallery (a narrow one). I confirm: I looooved the view. And it's a romantic spot to admire Paris with your loved one.
