My Paris Favorites - November 12, 2023

Bonjour bonjour!

In Paris, the weather has fully embraced Fall: low-hanging clouds and a gentle drizzle. Thankfully, the tree leaves are adding a beautiful touch of golden hues. Currently, I'm cosied up in a warm blanket, gearing up for my Christmas gift search. But before that, let's share with you my latest inspirations and favorites, along with the updates from the boutique. Ready? C'est parti! ⬇️

✨ My inspirations of the moment

Nina Métayer is a great French pastry chef, and she won the World's Best Pastry Chef 2023. She's the first woman to win this award! One of her pastry shops is near my home, so I sometimes treat myself. Last week I tried her Tarte Tatin: DE-LI-CIOUS. For pastry lovers, I highly recommend her pastry account on Instagram.

I'm having fun watching AT Frenchies videos. They are 2 young French men living in the US. They share on Instagram and Tiktok useful and fun videos about the French language. I don't know if they are good French teachers, but they definitely have a good sense of humor!

Fendi created a 'baguette bag'. Very creative and fun (but too pricey for me)!

❤️​ My latest favorites in Paris

I visited the Salon du Chocolat (the international Paris Chocolate Fair). It happens every year at the end of October. I spent there more than 4 hours: chocolate tastings, a fashion show (with dresses made in chocolate!), live demos from top chefs, international competitions... And of course, shopping: there are chocolate makers, pastry chefs and confectioners from all around the world.

The Olympic Games are right around the corner, so there are many exhibitions and events in Paris. I visited the exhibition Fashion and Sports: From one Podium to Another at the MAD museum (Musée des Arts Décoratifs), with my bestie. There are many fun facts shared, and the scenography is gorgeous. The exhibition is until April 2024.
