My Paris Favorites - February 25, 2024

Bonjour bonjour!

Currently, I've made my way to Nantes, enjoying a few days here as my nephews are on vacation. No snowy getaway for me this year. Nantes, being close to Normandy, shares a similar climate: plenty of rain and wind. Despite the lack of sunshine, there's always something to brighten up the day: a lovely bouquet of flowers from my nephews.

 My inspirations of the moment

The Olympic buzz has got me! Paris is getting ready for a huge event, and guess what? I'm in! I've been selected as a volunteer for Tennis at Roland Garros in both the Olympics and Paralympics. I'm so excited! Being part of this worldwide celebration is an honor. It's more than just sports – it's about the energy and unity. I'll be on the Events Services Team, making sure everything runs smoothly during the games.
I'm getting ready by diving into all things Olympics (and by playing sports!). I found this news: Paris Olympics medals will have pieces of the Eiffel Tower. How fabulous is that?

❤️ My latest favorites in Paris

I'm looking forward to catching the Apple TV series 'The New Look.' I've got a thing for Chanel and Dior. This article breaks down the filming locations, offering a great list of places to check out in Paris. I'd especially suggest the Musée des Arts Décoratifs – they consistently have fascinating exhibitions with breathtaking setups. It's a must-visit!

I recommend this article highlighting the French winter tradition of enjoying hot chocolate. It also shares some top spots in Paris: In Paris, Hot Chocolate Isn't Just a Drink — It's a Ritual. My favorites are Angelina and Carette hot chocolates.
