My Paris Favorites - August 30, 2024
Bonjour!
I've just returned from an incredible Olympic whirlwind. Volunteering was truly a one-of-a-kind experience, and being a spectator was just as thrilling. The venues were breathtaking, the atmosphere electric, and the athletes? Simply awe-inspiring. Now we're gearing up for the Paralympics, and I'm diving right back in. I'll be volunteering at the tennis competitions and treating myself to a few events as a spectator (including Para equestrian at the magnificent Versailles Castle!).
In between all this excitement, I'm already setting my sights on the Christmas season. I know, I know - it feels strange to think about winter while we're still soaking up the summer sun. And this is where you come in! I'm in the process of selecting new products for our holiday catalog, and I'd love your input. Could you answer this super quick survey? (2 questions only!) Thanks so much for your help!
❤️ My latest favorites in Paris
I recently won a contest on Instagram and enjoyed a cruise along the Seine in Paris. For 2 hours, we followed the route of the Olympic Opening Ceremony, which was quite special. The cruise moved at a leisurely pace, offering interesting historical commentary along the way. The view of Paris from the Seine was truly spectacular. If you're visiting, I'd definitely recommend this Olympic-inspired cruise!
And I've discovered a new favorite spot in Paris! I originally planned to try a charming café on the Printemps department store rooftop, called Bar Perché. However, when I arrived, the crêpe restaurant next door caught my eye. I decided to give it a try and settled on their terrace. The view is lovely: you can see Paris rooftops with the Eiffel Tower in the distance. But it's not just about the view, the crêpes were delicious, with great recipe combinations. Last but not least: the prices were quite reasonable. Creperie Malo on the 7th floor of Printemps store (Men building).
