Extra large French toile box inspired by Marie-Antoinette
- Fully handmade
- Marie Antoinette style
- Luxury toile
This large decorative box is a tribute to the 18th century and Marie Antoinette. The design will immediately transport you to a Versailles boudoir.
It is fully handmade by Lilly: she is one of the last craft person making storage boxes in France. Delicacy and multiple know-hows are necessary to create such refined pieces. This is an exceptional work!
This large decorative box is covered with Toile de Jouy fabric. The different perspectives reveal subtle details and symbols from the 18th century. Toile de Jouy is an historical French luxury fabric: the original manufacture opened in 1760 in Jouy en Josas (a tiny village very close to Versailles). Centuries later, Toile de Jouy timeless designs remain French icons.
On the inside, the box is covered with a water-green suede from Pierre Frey, a French luxury Maison founded in 1935. They honor French traditions and luxury style, taking inspiration in a collection dating from the sixteenth century to the present.
This luxurious box comes with an aqua luxury dust bag, that you can close with a gray lace.
All that remains is to choose where you will display it: it can be an elegant decor in your room or else used in your closet for your accessories (belts, scarves…) or your lingerie.
